Career Technical College Offers First Cosmetology Associate Degree in State of Louisiana
Shreveport, LA (November 17, 2010) – Career Technical College (CTC) is the first and only college to offer the Cosmetology Associate Degree in Occupational Studies in the State of Louisiana. Students graduating from the Cosmetology Associates Program at CTC receive their education in a new modern facility, offering a curriculum unlike any other in the state. Students meet the 1500 hour State Board required Cosmetology curriculum and earn an additional 350 hours in general studies courses; giving them the edge that is needed in the fast pace industry of cosmetology.
Courses offered in English, Mathematics, Computer and Psychology are designed to aid our graduates in being the top candidates for employment in the technology era of today’s salons.
