The Respiratory Therapy program provides students with the background in managing, controlling, and treating the problems associated with cardiopulmonary disease. Students acquire knowledge regarding respiratory diseases and other cardiopulmonary disorders and receive training in respiratory care procedures. Graduates admitted to programs holding a Letter of Review from the Committee in Accreditation of Respiratory Care (CoARC) are eligible to sit for the NBRC CRT credentialing examination and may seek entry-level employment in physician offices, clinics, laboratories, hospitals, group practices, specialty practices, health insurance offices, and nursing homes.
